Living Your Life

Just when you least expect it, things change.  I recently discovered I was not living the life I was meant to.  After much prayer and discussion, I made the decision to quit my direct selling business.  It was a painful decision, but one that that is absolutely the best for my family and myself.  There were many strange things that happened as a result, but that’s not the purpose of this post.

I always knew what I wanted to do with my life.  I enjoy the simple things in life.  I don’t care about getting a bigger house or a nice car.  Take me to the farmers’ market and the library and you have a happy gal.  I lost a lot of who I was the last few years, so now I’m working on who I want to be and the kind of life I want to build with my family.

Do I believe I wasted the last few years of my life?  Absolutely not.  I believe God had me where I was for a season.  Now it’s time for a new season.  One that the previous season prepared me for.

There are many exciting things on the horizon, old passions have been renewed, and new ones are being discovered.  Here’s wishing you all the blessings God has reserved just for you!

  1. The simple things in life that God has placed there for us to enjoy and worship Him for: finches at the feeder, Tiger Swallowtail butterfly sitting atop a Cosmos bloom getting nourishment, sample Christmas cards in the mailbox painted by Joni, a day off to do some sewing and work on the checkbook, communion with Him in a comfortable chair and a cup of coffee, etc…

I think I’ll visit your new website often when you get it up and running!!
